I HATE Reading

I hear those words spoken by so many people around. They do their best to avoid books at all costs. They wiggle their way out of any opportunity that puts them face to face with books.

I find it ironic that people say that they hate reading, an action every single person does every moment of every day.

Yes, you heard me right. YOU read every moment of every day… at least while you are awake. Let’s see how that is the case.

Reading is a much bigger concept than reading books or print. Reading is the skill to read or understand what is between the lines. When you talk to people, you are at the same time reading. You read their reactions, what they don’t say and what their bodies are saying.

We read people and situations all the time. Sometimes we also misread them.

So, now that we have proved that you read all the time. Let us explore why you don’t enjoy reading words in print (books and other printed words)

Maybe, you have not found the right book?

Maybe, the books you have met so far are either boring or in an area that does not interest you that much?

Or, it can be because the books you have tried to read are too complicated for your language level?

Or maybe another reason that I have not mentioned.

So, do you like reading books? If not, what is your reason?

Mention it in a comment and let us explore it together.
